Working together to tackle housing challenges

Housing Plus Group is joining regional partners to combat some of the biggest challenges facing the housing sector, as it strives to provide the affordable housing our communities need.

Marking the launch of the newly-merged Group, chief executive Sarah Boden said that Housing Plus Group was meeting its responsibilities as a larger organisation with a place-shaping role in the region. She announced an investment of £6,000 for the Housing Futures initiative, which is the next stage in the National Housing Federation’s award-winning innovation programme, Creating Our Future.

The donation will be boosted by match funding to support ground-breaking projects such as Hacking Homelessness, helping housing associations to support people at risk of eviction.
